1) Snug heal fit –In a normal stride your foot bends forward; applying all the pressure to the ball of the foot; and the heal pulls away from the inner shoe. But because of the fitting offered by Merrell the upper will follow the heel; which will stop it from sliding and slipping that can eventually cause damage to your foot.
2) A snug instep- apart from stopping the toes from moving forward when walking down a hill; a good instep fit gives you more comfort and more internal control over the shoe. Or as when standing on sloppy rocks, the footwear sole won’t sideslip beneath you.
3) The Toe Room- the toes always need plenty of room, this is why our design enables protection from getting bashed by outdoor landscapes, thanks to the sturdy toe box
4) Width fitting – all feet come in different size this includes the volume and length. But with Merrell shoes you can always adjust the volume to narrow or widen the different foot beds.

Created for both men and women, Merrell footwear has always established the difference between the two. They are:

Merrell’s strive to cater to any type of environment, landscape, climate or condition. The invention of the patent Merrell Air Cushion Midsole absorbs shock but also adds stability. These specifications are all exclusively reinforced in Merrell footwear; the air cushion suppresses the heel to absorb all shocks. Internally the shoe is designed with a heel cup, in order to keep the heel in the center part of the foot bed. This is implemented with the Merrell boots and all their footwear they manufacture now.
